Terms of Service

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Welcome to Feastimate. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the website at feastimate.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Feastimate provides free, browser-based calculators that estimate quantities for parties and events — for example, how many drinks, how much food or BBQ meat, how much ice, how many supplies, or what budget a gathering of a given size might need. All calculations run as client-side JavaScript in your browser. No account or sign-up is required, and the Service is provided free of charge.

2. Important: estimates and guidance only

Every number the Service produces is an estimate based on general planning rules of thumb. Outputs are provided for convenience and guidance only and do not constitute professional, catering, nutritional, medical, financial or legal advice. Real-world needs vary widely with your guests, menu, venue, weather and traditions. You are solely responsible for your own purchasing decisions — including the cost of any over- or under-purchase — for food storage, preparation and safety, and for accommodating your guests' allergies and dietary requirements. For high-stakes events such as weddings or large formal functions, confirm quantities with a professional caterer.

3. Alcohol: your responsibility

Some calculators estimate quantities of beer, wine and spirits. These figures are planning estimates only. You are solely responsible for purchasing and serving alcohol legally and responsibly. That includes complying with the legal drinking age and all alcohol laws and licensing requirements in your jurisdiction, never serving minors or visibly intoxicated guests, and making sure no one drives under the influence. Feastimate does not encourage alcohol consumption, and nothing on the Service should be read as a recommendation to buy or serve any particular amount of alcohol.

4. "As is" — no warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including, without limitation, implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any estimate will match your actual needs, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Feastimate and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, goods, food, data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including reliance on any estimate it produces. Where liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the Service — which is zero, because the Service is free.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and fairly. In particular, you must not: attempt to disrupt, overload or compromise the site or its hosting; use bots or scrapers to extract content at abusive volume; copy, frame or republish substantial portions of the Service as your own work; interfere with the advertising that funds the Service; or use the Service in connection with any unlawful activity.

7. Third-party ads and links

The Service displays third-party advertising and may link to external websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products or services, and any dealings you have with advertisers are solely between you and them. See our privacy policy for details on advertising cookies and the choices available to you.

8. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted at this address with the "Last updated" date shown above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Korea, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
